The Greatest Video Game Music 2 To Feature Kingdom Hearts!

khiethy:

Remember “Fate of the Unknown”? You know, the fantastic song Yoko Shimomura composed for Birth By Sleep, the secret ending in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, yet was not featured in the game with the same title? Yeah, we all remember it. It was gorgeous, emotive, and powerful, setting the mood for the battle the three armored keyblade wielders were in against the mysterious helmeted figure and old Xehanort. ”Fate of the Unknown” is definitely considered one of Shimomura’s greatest compositions yet in the Kingdom Hearts series, and it isn’t just the fans who agree!

The London Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing “Fate of the Unknown”, along with other iconic and renowned video game music like “One-Winged Angel” from Final Fantasy VII and the main theme theme from Chrono Trigger, on The Greatest Video Game Music 2 album which releases on November 6th 2012!

Below is the full tracklisting:

  2. Master Eraqus likes sweet foods. He loves strawberries.
  3. Terra likes almonds and nuts-flavored food. Doesn’t like sweets very much nor fruits.
  4. Terra seems to love to tease Aqua about being ‘such a girl’   (which I totally ship)
  5. Aqua loves cooking and loves sweets.
  6. Terra came up with Ventus’ nickname.
  7. Terra seems to always be training. (Just a confirmation)

Absolutely love this quote:

’ Today is Dancing Lemon Cake. Since it’s not that sweet, I’m sure Terra will like it ” - Aqua

khiethy:

Ten years ago on March 28th, 2002, a great series was born. Some people didn’t think it would work, finding it extremely strange to blend Final Fantasy characters into Disney movies, and others were drawn in because of how unique and unexpected it was. Even the people who made the game were…
